Law-uy

This is a delicious Visayan dish, a healthy vegetable soup called Law-uy. You can put lots of veggies into it like, eggplant, string beans, okra, malunggay, and many more.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo squash
2 cups saluyot
2 cups takway ( Taro or gabi shoots)
1 small onion
2 tablespoons fish paste ( bagoong dilis)
2 cups water
salt to taste 


Procedure:
1. In a pot put the water, onion  and fish paste then bring to a boil. When boiling add the taro shoots,  simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add the squash then simmer until half cooked then add the saluyot and salt to taste and continue to simmer until cooked.
3. Serve it hot.
