Mixed Veggies with Shrimp


Health buff? If you're on a diet or just want to be healthy then this dish is perfect for you! Take a break from all the meat and go green! This is a must try! It's just easy to cook and delicious!

Ingredients:

1/2 kilo shrimp, deskinned
7 pcs. baguio beans, sliced about 1 inch
1 cabbage, sliced
300 grams bean sprouts
3 pcs. garlic, minced
1 pc. onion, sliced
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. fish sauce
pepper

Procedure:

1. On a pan, heat oil.
2. Saute garlic and onion.
3. When garlic is a bit brown, add in shrimps. Mix for 1 minute.
4. When shrimp turns pinkish, add in baguio beans. Cover for 2 mins.
5. Add in bean sprouts and cabbage. Put fish sauce and pepper. Mix well.
6. Cover for 1 minute.
7. Serve and enjoy!

Chicharon Bulaklak


Chicharon Bulaklak literally means "flower chicharon" named after its shape is one of the most favorite finger foods or "pulutan" in our country. It's usually serve along with alcoholic beverages. Chicharon Bulaklak is also known as pork mesentery which may be dipped into spiced coconut vinegar.

Ingredients:

1 kilo chicharon bulaklak (pork mesentery)
2 pcs. garlic, minced
3 cups water
5 cups oil
salt and pepper

Procedure:

1. On a pan boil garlic and chicharon bulaklak until tender. Set aside.
2. Season chicharon bulaklak with salt and pepper.
3. On a pan, heat oil.
4. Deep fry boiled chicharon bulaklak until crispy!
5. Serve with spicy vinegar dip!

Pork Strips


Having a hard time thinking of a pork recipe for dinner? Well, this is a good suggestion for it. It's so easy and your done in less than an hour!

Ingredients:

1 kilo pork, cut into strips
3 potatoes, cut into medium size
1 pack tomato sauce, 250 ml
1/2 c water
1 red bell pepper cut into medium size
2 tbsp cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pc onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

1. On a pan, saute onion and garlic until onion turns transluscent.
2. Add in meat and saute until brown or until cooked.
3. Pour tomato sauce and water and let it simmer for 15 mins.
4. Put potatoes and red bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Cover for 5 minutes.
5. Serve and enjoy!

Rolled Pancakes



Bored with your kids at home? Why not do something fun and yummy at your kitchen. Doing this easy rolled pancakes will surely be a fun activity with your loved ones. 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour
1 can evaporated milk, 250 ml
1 tbsp. white sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
oil

Procedure:

1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
